Ingredients
  

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (sliced into cutlets)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Pasta & Sauce:

  • 12 oz pasta fettuccine, penne, or linguine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for heat
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water as needed for consistency
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1: Cook the Chicken

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Pasta

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water for later use.

Step 3: Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  • In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and stir well.
  • Slowly mix in parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.

Step 4: Combine Everything

  • Slice the cooked chicken into strips.
  • Toss cooked pasta into the creamy sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  • Add sliced chicken on top and mix gently.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and extra parmesan.
  • Serve warm with garlic bread or salad for a complete meal!
