- 2 brioche or whole wheat burger buns toasted
- 2 slices cheddar or pepper jack cheese or vegan alternative
- ¼ cup grilled onions
- ¼ cup pickled or grilled jalapeños
- 2 tbsp smoky BBQ sauce or chipotle mayo
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 2 thick tomato slices
- Optional: avocado slices or vegan cheese
Season & Shape: Lightly season beef patties with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Shape into thick, round patties.
Grill Patties: Grill or pan-sear over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side, or until internal temp reaches 160°F.
Toast Buns: Toast buns on grill or in a pan until golden and slightly crispy.
